Wild Mule Tails/Lessons from Mules is a humorous rendition of stories that landed in my lap through the years of working with mules. Sally the Wondermule my best friend for 27 years and I worked diligently on developing a mule comedy act and was even invited to perform at Bishop Mule Days, the biggest mule show in the world. The experience of this two-state trip ran the gamut from vehicle breakdowns, loss of all cash and credit cards, stage fright, and comedy failure. This event includes my total embarrassment and an array of high emotions with each challenge. Also, I share the story of three wild mule yearlings I bought to train and sell. In this overwhelming project, I document step by step "how-to" for successful mule groundwork, with a heavy emphasis on how the human needs to be when working with mules to solicit cooperation and willingness. She has worked with mules and horses for many years and has learned what it takes to make a willing mule and horse without force, bullying, demands, or fear tactics.
