Wake Her Up

I didn't know I was losing myself over and over until I woke up. I lost myself when my marriage ended, when people didn't like me, when my body failed me and on many days when things were simply bad. I started to ask myself... Who am I? Who is the girl inside without the titles, without the fears and doubts, without my body, without my people? Then something important changed. I learned to be still and listen. The more I listened and got to know Her, the more She woke up. The more She woke up, the more I understood about my creation and the experience of this life. Finding myself didn't require a yoga retreat to Costa Rica. I didn't spend a year as a Buddhist Monk. There was no month-long trip to Paris to paint and eat croissants. There was just me asking myself questions and paying attention to the answers. I found my true self in my regular everyday life. Waking HER up has illuminated my life, and my relationships, and changed the course of my universe. If you never wake up, are you really alive? There is an awakening happening within women.
