Una grande avvocata, Gloria, incontra per caso un barbone, Gerry, che la salva da una aggressione. A great lawyer, Gloria, by chance encounters a tramp, Gerry, who saves her from an assault. He offers him tea and uses it as a man of straw to save his lover who is about to be elected Governor of California but has committed fraud. He cleans up his figure and language but things get complicated and Gerry is accused of murder. Convinced of having been betrayed by Gloria, whom he fell in love with, he confesses the murder not committed. Now it's up to Gloria to save him and in the end he will win love.
