Understanding the Bible

This workbook is a journey of enlightenment and understanding, with the ultimate goal of leading you to a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. The reason behind this writing is simple: I want you to learn about God and, most importantly, to build a loving relationship with the Father, His Son, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. As you read this workbook, I pray that it will help you gain a deeper understanding of God's Word and awaken a living faith in your heart. Religion can be just a ritual, but true faith-grounded in a personal relationship with Jesus-has the power to change everything. Embrace God's Word, and allow it to transform your life. Book starts with Genesis Chapter one, verse one. Directions: Read the verse and answer the question(s) pertaining to the verse. Look up in your bible the cross reference(s) provided for that verse. If you feel the need to take notes when reading the cross reference(s) or if you don't have enough lines to write down your answers to help you understand the verse, please have a notebook available.
