UNBREAKABLE

This book offers an intimate exploration of my life journey as a five-year-old girl growing up in a disadvantaged environment on the Eastside of Detroit, Michigan. It delves into themes of heartbreak, abandonment, depression, and a dysfunctional family dynamic. Through each chapter, I invite readers to engage with my experiences of silence, complex relationships, and the struggles within the church, while unveiling my path toward healing, restoration, freedom, and forgiveness. The title, UNBREAKABLE, is deeply significant. It reflects the multitude of challenges and adversities that tried to break my spirit - yet they did not succeed. I believe my resilience was fortified by divine intervention, as I underwent a transformation much like the name changes seen in biblical history. This narrative serves as a testament to the many trials and tribulations I have endured. I stand today as living proof of having overcome personal betrayals within myself, my family, my ministry, and my relationships. Many individuals facing similar hardships may have succumbed to despair, but I persevered - with the determination of a steadfast soldier. It is my hope that this book becomes a source of inspiration for all who read it. Upon finishing, I encourage readers to share its message with others, thereby fostering a greater sense of community, healing, and support.
