The Story of an Achiever

Neelakant hails from a poor family of four from Chennai. His father Sivam, worked in the office of railways there. Neelakant had to suffer in his college days in a case of drugs foisted on him, by a narcotic dealer. After graduation he worked as a clerk in a shop. Due to the strange circumstances he came across, he marries the girl he loved and moves to Delhi. Neelakant determines to become rich and avenge the society for his wrong involvement in the drug charges. He himself enters drugs trade and becomes rich in a short time. Having realized the adverse effects of the drugs trade on public, he changes course to real estate business. He helps people by his social welfare activities. With his amassed earnings he contributes to a political party and in course of time, gets elected to the assembly by his mass following. Later, he becomes a Member of Parliament. He helps his brother Sreekant to start business at Chennai. Sreekant participates in civil society movements of Anna Hazaare and raises awareness inthe public against corruption and political misdeeds at Chennai. Later he too enters politics and starts his own political party. The novel showcases many incidents of adventure, romance and political intrigues, to satisfy imagination of the readers.
