Produktinformationen "The Primacy of Creativity. Does an Eternally Creative Cosmos Entail Free Will and Moral Responsibility?"
Essay from the year 2024 in the subject Philosophy - Theoretical (Realisation, Science, Logic, Language), , language: English, abstract: The concept of nature as a pre-determined, rigidly-deterministic machine, comprised of eternal Platonic laws and constants handed down once-and-forever from 'on high', has dominated our philosophy and science for several millennia. During the past century paradoxes associated with quantum mechanics, the mysteries of dark matter, dark energy, the nature of consciousness, and the long-standing debate on the existence of free will, have called into question our previous assumptions. It is becoming apparent that a rigid, pre-determined cosmos of 'being' does not exist independently of our conscious perception and free will. It is proposed, rather, that the cosmos is a projection of the implicate order onto the explicate order of spacetime, of a fluid and creative entity that is eternally 'becoming' in which free will exists and plays a key role in molding its behavior. Behind our spacetime perception of reality as a machine governed by eternal mathematical laws and Turing computation, there is a pre-spacetime implicate order, the underlying reality of the self-creating implicate-order plenum PL and phi connectome PC computing as a Gödel Non-Turing/Non-algorithmic Phase-Shift Computational System GNPSCS. Via morphic resonance, persistent patterns and repeated conscious free-will choices form and alter annealed nested habit pathways of the phi connectome which are, then, continually projected back onto the explicate order of spacetime. There is resonance across space and time (entanglement) such that what happens in one place at one time is present every-where and every-when. Thus, the explicate and implicate orders are 'locked' in an eternal, flexible interplay of being and becoming such that we have moral responsibility because our conscious, free-will decisions affect the structure of the cosmos.
