What we discovered was more than beauty, rocks and a mighty river that continues to carve the Canyon to this day. We saw the earth open up before our eyes and challenge us to understand our evolving planet. We are neither geologists, historians nor meteorologists. We are simply people who walk on planet Earth and who can witness her mysteries should we take the time. These discoveries were a true revelation to be able to see up close and personal how millions of years of changing climate patterns, earthquakes and volcanos along with a raging River to this day serve to carve and etch this beautiful Canyon.
