Baby was too small for baking cupcakes for the Brown children. Dad bragged about colorful cupcakes he'd bake for holidays. However one day Mr. Brown used Dad to sort screws, nails, and other parts in the garage. Mom loved baking birthday cupcakes. But one day Mrs. Brown pulled Mom to sort buttons in the sewing room. Not so for the muffin-pan baby. He wasn't big enough for either baking needs or sorting jobs. Mostly he napped. As time wore on, the Brown children grew up, moved away, and started their families. Mrs. Brown found the muffin-pan baby and used him exclusively from then on. His mom and dad were retired, except when the children and grandchildren came to visit. Muffin-pan baby learned the invaluable lessons that each of us has a purpose or purposes in life and that we can find joy in all tasks.
