The Journey is the second in a series of short stories, which are meant to discuss controversial topics that the human conscience is faced with, in this age of confusion and despair. Each of the stories deals with a specific challenging issue. Through intense exchanges between the personalities of the story, the reader shall be able to get a sense of the topic being addressed in the story and the various circulating views in connection to it. The first short story in this series: The Motel, was published in April 2022.The series uses the classical Platonic dialogue approach, which I found to be very useful in authoring this type of work. The book Republic, written by the great Greek philosopher Plato, is the model I used. I hope that the reader shall find this series of fictional literary works, a stimulating, challenging, and rewarding read.
