On arrival in Paris, Rachel visits Rochelle’s strip club and feels the lure of exhibitionism for the first time. Whilst also succumbing to more than a passing interest in Konrad. Rochelle, meanwhile, falls in with a rich London crowd. For a while a string of random sexual adventures fills the void left by dancing. But enlightenment ultimately comes to Rochelle as she discovers that performing for an audience of one can be just as daring as dancing to a crowd.
