The Castle

Despite Kafka's instruction to his close friend Max Brod to destroy all unpublished manuscripts after his death, The Castle was preserved and published. The novel stands alongside Kafka's "The Metamorphosis" and The Trial as one of the twentieth century's most significant and existentially profound absurdist literary contributions.
