Speech Distilled as Dew

The Creator uses creative expression to communicate deeply into the hearts of His beloved children, all who have been birthed by Him, His image-bearers. Why did Jesus say we must become as little children to enter the kingdom of heaven? What does a child say at bedtime? "Tell me a story, Daddy. Mommy, sing me a song." It is the author's belief that this is so often how the Voice of God chooses to deliver important truths. Lamentably, too often grown-ups have grown out of the receptivity of a child. Speech Distilled as Dew was written to recapture and restore the creative richness, beauty, and wonder of how the Living Word of God delights to capture us. From pictures "worth a thousand words," to dance, choreography, riddles, rhyme, proverbs, and allegory, what is presented in the contents of these pages was designed to be an artistic feast from the banquet table of the Master Storyteller and Artist of artists.This is an invitation to you, the reader, to expand the palette of your understanding of communication from a Maker who longs to have you recognize the Voice calling out to you and wooing you into a deeper relationship. May you "taste and see" that God is good. Denise Rowe is a retired mental health practitioner with an MSW from Michigan State University and a BS in Bible from Philadelphia College of Bible. Denise taught two semesters of social psychology at the college level and has led workshops on a variety of topics for emotional healing and spiritual development. Two of her previous publications include Dragonfly Denny: The Pursuit of Destiny and The Voice of Rachel Weeping: A Creative Journey of Compassion, Healing, and Hope for Abused Women.
