Prior to his teaching he worked in public relations and was a television producer, writer, and director with his own international production company. Today, Dr. Plateroti is concentrating on his writing with the publishing in 2021of the first book of his trilogy, East Clifton Avenue. He is currently working on the completion of the second and third book of the trilogy. Dr. Plateroti is also active in award winning home renovations, maintaining his real estate and financial investments, and a recording vocalist.
