Augustinus: Enarrationes in Psalmos 51-60 (ed. H. Müller 2004) // Der erste Band des mittleren Drittels (Media Quinquagena) der Enarrationes in Psalmos Augustins umfaßt die Auslegungen zu den Psalmen 51-60, die sämtlich auf mitstenographierten Predigten des Kirchenvaters beruhen. Der Band enthält einige der umfangreichsten und rhetorisch interessantesten Psalmpredigten Augustins. Bei der Textkonstitution wurde auf die adäquate Rekonstruktion und Wiedergabe von Augustins farbenreichem oralem Stil größter Wert gelegt. Zugleich wird der Versuch einer exakten Rekonstruktion von Augustins Psalmtext unternommen, der in eigenen Einleitungskapiteln präsentiert wird. The first volume of the middle part (Media Quinquagena) of Augustine's Enarrationes in Psalmos contains the explanations of psalms 51-60, which are directly based on sermons taken down in shorthand. In this volume there are some of Augustine's most extensive and rhetorically interesting psalm sermons. In constituting the text, special attention was paid to the adequate reconstruction and presentation of Augustine's colourful oral style. Besides, the editor attempted to reconstruct the exact wording of Augustine's psalm text, which is presented in separate preliminary chapters.
