Romeo and Julian reinvents the greatest love story of the last 600 years, with present-day political intrigue, Snapchat, drag queens, biracial leads, and the searing heat of a first gay love. This time, the boys will either rise like a phoenix from an inferno... or disappear in it. The Montaguez family supplies fentanyl. The Capulets distribute it, using the money to bribe judges and fuel Mr. Capulet's Senate aspirations. While their rival families consider going to open war, their sons just want to be loved.
