Road to Wholeness

We have all experienced some level of trauma in our lives. Trauma can come into our lives through many different and varied avenues. Trauma can be verbal, physical, mental or take many other forms. Sometimes we may be aware of the trauma in our past, and sometimes not. It is important to recognize the history of trauma so that we can begin the healing process. This book offers two parts to help you navigate toward wholeness. You will find a gripping retold story of the parable of the Good Samaritan in a modern setting. The parable of the Good Samaritan has six main characters: the victim, the bandits, a priest, a Levite, the innkeeper, and the Good Samaritan. We often only think about the victim and the good Samaritan, but we can learn much from each participant in the story. And as we think about each character, considering how we might relate to each one, we can grow and see that trauma touches all of us in a variety of ways. This book will help you understand what trauma is, how to walk through it and action steps you can take today to move towards healing and wholeness. Jesus can still heal broken hearts, and there is a road you can take, hand-in-hand with Him, that will help you exchange ashes for beauty, mourning for laughter and how you can receive healing from heaven for the broken places in your life.
