Monique Jones is a Southern New Yorker. She is a spoken word artist that started her creative writing journey in 2003 at the age of ten to express her complex emotion. Her unstable and unpredictable childhood gave her perspective about life and through her lens her poetry profoundly mirrored the world around her. In her early childhood God was a prominent expression of her faith in herself but as she transformed into a woman her concrete belief in God has been self reflective and a collective conscious of being wombman. Artistically known to many as "Cityblockartist", Maurice is a Brooklyn bred, freelance, all-round artist that uses multiple mediums to create his work while also creating through a wide variety art styles. Have you ever wondered what living and breathing your true core really looked like? Then this man is a prime example of just that! To do the things he does, create the way that he does, let alone to brain storm and construct the concepts that he does is nothing short of embracing and truly manifesting your power of imagination.
