Produktinformationen "Never to Die II"
The map on the front cover shows Armenia and the occupied territory surrounding Artsakh after the defeat of Azerbaijan in 1994. The red lines on the map are the superhighways Artsakh has constructed. Never To Die II: Armenia and Her Reawakening is a historical novel about Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh accompanied by their trials and tribulations from 1918 to the present. Th e book is a continuation of Never To Die: A Historical Novel About Armenia and the Quest for Noah's Ark, Th e historical part of the text is supported by Vartouhi Zerouni who is the widow of one of the team members who died in an avalanche looking for the Ark. In Never To Die II she moves to Armenia after her husband's demise and becomes a star reporter who relates and comments about the major events that are occurring in the region. Th e latter part of the book covers mainly the menacing relationship between Armenia and Azerbaijan after Nagorno Karabakh ¿ rst wanted to be a part of Soviet Armenia, and then the latter declared herself an independent state following the USSR's demise. Conditions looked good in Armenia and Karabakh after Armenia defeated Azerbaijan in 1994. After the "Velvet Revolution" in 2018 the situation looked even more elating, i.e., until Azerbaijan defeated Armenia in the 2020 44-Day War with the help of Turkey. Now Armenia and Artsakh are looking for a reawakening to recover from the loss in the war.
