It was like I was looking at the hand of another person. I was unnerved to be unable to use a familiar object; I was no longer the captain of my body. " After returning home from the hospital with her newborn baby boy, Logan, something feels amiss. It should be the happiest time of Marianne’s life, but she finds herself suffering strange spells. Everything comes to a head when Marianne falls in the bathroom and has a stroke, with her children in the next room. With a single-minded determination only a young mother can conjure, Marianne struggles to find answers and fights to survive for the sake of her three children. Along the way, she becomes enlightened on what it really is to live and to accept both the good and the bad in life. But first, she must embrace herself and come face-to-face with her own limitations.
