Dr. Shaheer Ellahi Khan is a social scientist and development researcher with a distinguished academic and professional background in anthropology and international development. He earned his Doctorate in Anthropology from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, and completed his M.Phil in International Development Studies (with distinction) from Iqra University, Islamabad. His foundational training in anthropology was obtained from Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi. Dr. Khan has also received multiple certifications in scientific writing and research communication from the University of Leeds (UK), further strengthening his expertise in academic publishing. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) at the University of Central Punjab, Lahore, Dr. Khan has authored numerous HEC-recognized national and international research papers focusing on socio-cultural dynamics, development policy, and qualitative inquiry. His professional experience spans diverse roles-full-time, part-time, and consultant-with various organizations in the health and education sectors. He has contributed to the design, implementation, and scaling of context-specific healthcare interventions, combining academic rigor with applied research. Dr. Khan has also played a significant role in developing communication and advocacy materials, as well as educational tools aimed at enhancing patient awareness and community engagement. His work reflects a consistent commitment to bridging research, practice, and policy for sustainable social impact.
