Produktinformationen "Islam from the viewpoint of the Bible"
All people on this Earth have only been granted one single life by their Creator. In this allotted timespan we need to find out which path will lead us to the right destination. Anyone contemplating the multitude of religions around the globe quickly discovers that they differ greatly from each other. From a logical standpoint, not all doctrines can be true. The search for truth therefore becomes of primary importance. In the author’s home country of Germany there are over four million Muslims who follow Islam and whose authoritative source of doctrine is the Koran. Many Germans are Christians, and their doctrines are based on the propositions of the Bible. Do both ways equally lead to Heaven, as is widely held today in our multi-religious society? The author of this book attempts to view Islam from the standpoint of the Bible. At centre stage of his contemplations are the God of the Bible and the Allah of the Koran. One question plays an especially prominent role in this context: Is the Jesus described in the Bible identical to the Isa of the Koran? Some of the other questions covered are: Was Jesus crucified? Is there a God of love? Do Christians pray to three Gods? What is sin? Are there binding assurances with regard to eternity? What are the most distinctive differences between Islam and Christianity? Numerous verses of the Bible and of the Koran are compared, providing the reader with a guide suited to either consolidating the position held by them so far—or considering it anew.
