But some powerful leaders in Nazi Germany don't want the lost book found. Rost has a personal reason to search for it and his only trusted ally is a young woman on the run from the Gestapo. The books do not stand alone; rather, one part leads into the next. The trilogy is also available in a one-volume edition as The Berlin Trilogy.
