This book contains the Mulamadhyamakakarika (Root Verses of the Middle Way), the central work of the great Indian philosopher Nagarjuna. Accompanied by thought-provoking philosophical commentary, this book invites us to delve into the most subtle core of Buddhist thought: the doctrine of emptiness (sunyata). In critical dialogue with the personalist and essentialist currents of ancient Buddhism, these verses do not deny the world, but reveal the radical interdependence of all phenomena.
