The Hey Little Book Series was created to ignite the imagination of our youth and expand their vision of what's possible. In a world where children are constantly exposed to fame-driven paths-like becoming a celebrity, influencer, or entertainer-we often overlook the countless other careers that shape our world. And while there's absolutely nothing wrong with those dreams, they shouldn't be the only ones placed in front of them. Hey Little exists to fill that gap. This series introduces young readers to a wide variety of meaningful careers-like doctors, scientists, engineers, lawyers, journalists, inventors, and CEOs-careers that aren't always highlighted, but are critical to our communities and our future. Through simple language and inspiring affirmations, each book opens the door for children to say, "One day, I want to be a..." Because when children can see it, they can believe it. And when they believe it, they can become it. Pastor DeShawn R. Harris Sr. is a dynamic voice of clarity, conviction, and Kingdom purpose. A native of Savannah, GA, Pastor Harris accepted Christ at the young age of 10 and preached his first sermon at just 12 years old-a clear sign that God's hand was on his life from the beginning. With a heart for people and a hunger for truth, he has spent decades teaching the Word of God with simplicity, power, and relevance. More than a preacher, Pastor Harris is a husband, father, mentor, and visionary. He is joyfully married to Lady Sharmese Harris, his spiritual partner and unwavering support, and together they are raising a beautiful family-two sons and five daughters-grounded in love and faith.
