FOOD4U!

Bleak corporate horror meets cosmic apocalypse: FOOD4U! is a darkly funny Lovecraftian nightmare where minimum-wage workers face the end of reality in the aisles of a big-box discount store. Joe Sutter just wants to get through his shift. Clock in, push carts, avoid customers, clock out. But when the power dies inside a FOOD4U! big-box store in rural Illinois, Joe and his coworkers discover they're trapped in something far worse than retail hell. Customers stand frozen in the aisles. A homeless man claiming to be a professor screams that the universe is ending. Black, living hair creeps from the walls. Blue, electric moth-things drop from the ceiling and kill on contact. And somewhere beneath the store, in a basement no one wants to enter, something vast and hungry is trying to be born. As waves of impossible creatures tear through the store-acid-spitting chicken bugs, parasite-filled rats, and worse-the employees learn the truth: the customers were hypnotized, but the workers weren't. They're too angry, exhausted, and full of resentment for late-stage capitalism itself to control. The end of the world is coming...It just happens to be on sale in aisle seven.
