Faerûn Besieged

Chaos and pandemonium are spreading across the Savage Frontier of Faerûn. Four Adventurers form an unlikely alliance to help Nightstone, which is a town being attacked by Goblins. However, Giants of every kind are attacking the villages and cities of the little folk, killing hundreds and destroying homes and businesses. The Adventurers are soon drawn into an adventure stretching beyond their wildest imagination as they learn they're the Chosen Ones to help restore peace to the land. Faerûn Besieged is a narration of a real-life RPG campaign based on Dungeons & Dragons' Storm King's Thunder storyline. Over an 18-month period, overlapping with the Covid-19 pandemic, six family members embarked on this wonderous journey and recorded about 100 hours of game play. Those recordings formed the basis for this book. Faerûn Besieged, which is intended to be a memoir for our families and friends, is filled with illustrations including pictures of the real-life players and the battlefields. We hope all who read this story will find it entertaining. Certainly for us, the players and Dungeon Master, it memorializes an incredibly challenging period in our lives and our temporary escape to an alternate reality.
