2025 has been a year of immense challenges: 318 million people face acute hunger across 67 countries, with nearly two million on the edge of famine. Yet, innovation has been a source of hope, helping us reach more people, more efficiently, when it matters most.In the words of Rania Dagash-Kamara, World Food Programme (WFP) Assistant Executive Director for Partnerships and Innovation:"Innovation is the key to WFP's mission, especially in the most challenging contexts. Many have stepped up their commitment to advancing innovative approaches, investing in new technologies and solutions to amplify efficiency and effectiveness while recognizing the transformative potential of innovation.
