Holly Noelle has lived her entire life in Tinsel, Tennessee. This year her usual happy, jolly soul is stretched too thin. Holly's Christmas wish this year is to find someone who will light up her world and make her heart sing. When Holly's Christmas lighting business decorates the house of a retired Marine by request from his buddy, she discovers a man who is healing from a painful past. Gabe Shepherd has a hate-hate relationship with the merriest season of the year. Growing up without a family, he never had an opportunity to celebrate the season like most people do. Having moved to Tinsel, Tennessee in the summer he had no idea what he was in for. Being surrounded by garland, lights and everything bright for months is his worst nightmare. Meeting Holly brings Gabe fully out of the past and locks him into the present. She opens his eyes to the joys of the season, helping him heal old wounds. With the help of Holly, his Marine buddy, and a family member Gabe didn't know existed until a year ago, he finds his heart full of the Christmas spirit and decides to create roots in this over-the-top Christmas-loving town.
