Dare to Believe

It was a beautiful spring day. My son and I went to church, movies and dinner. At the end of the day, he said "Mommy, look!" Then he moved the collar of his shirt and exposed his neck. I gasped "Oh my God, we have to see the doctor!" A small mass grew exponentially. A joyous day turned somber. Kelvin at 24 years old was diagnosed with cancer. Yet we did not panic. We laid our burdens at the feet of Jesus. We held unto our faith believing that "all things are possible to him who believes." And although we were emotionally drained, physically exhausted, and economically taxed, we did not give up.2 Corinthians 4:8 "We are hard pressed on every side but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair".A journey of twists and turns!
