The Mediterranean world changed dramatically, and Indo-European languages - Luwic, Lydian, but also Phrygian and Greek - interacted with increasing intensity with each other and with the neighbouring idioms and cultures of the Syro-Mesopotamian, Iranian and Aegean worlds.
