The race for the prize jumps to Munich, then to Heidelberg, back to Munich, back to Copenhagen, across sea and overland to Amsterdam and a very close call, moves to Paris, then on to the finish and grim final accounting in London, where, when the prize is finally recovered, the couple faces one final, bloody betrayal!
