Black Sun, Curse of the Nebula

With two Babels found and much gold accumulated, Jonathan and Alexander are well on their way toward claiming Arcadia and their lost legacy. Yet, through such providence, a new conflict emerges: war now embroils the Outer Rim as two great conglomerates vie for an unknown prize. A war that threatens to escalate all too quickly, potentially embroiling the rest of the galaxy. Having no choice but to intervene, the brothers and their crew soon find themselves reluctant privateers. Carnage and bloodshed rampant, with many innocents caught in between, the Flints can only strive for victory. Victory that would see one belligerent destroyed and the other unopposed. Through their fighting however, the Flints learn such to be but a fraction of a much greater whole. All while one of their own is forced to confront her much dreaded past, as well as those she had long left behind... Upon the twilight of the First Age of Terra, the Age of Progression, a series of great and cataclysmic wars would erupt between its human inhabitance and a mysterious race of invaders from the stars. The consequences of such devastating conflicts were far-reaching. The invaders were eventually defeated and repelled, but in the aftermath of these End Wars, governments would collapse, and humanity would face widespread starvation and extinction.
