"This was something that happened to other people, people who hadn¿t thought out everything the way we had. We had a plan that started in high school and followed us into parenthood and suburbia. Obviously then, it was my fault that this has happened, but how is it my fault? I had just wanted to be a good wife and mother and had worked so hard to accomplish that by sticking to our plan. But he said it was my fault, so it must be. Right? Had I seen the ¿signs¿ and foolishly ignored them? Apparently so!"
