As an instructor of the introductory Ayurveda class, I re-named the body's three energy flows based upon Ayurvcda Sanskrit terms. The Sanskrit terms -- Vata, Pitta and Kapha became the appropriate Western functions - movement, processing and storage. Ayurveda Demystified helps an individual identify their personal dominant energy flow. With this knowledge, they can look for and apply the best remedies or foods for a healthy body.
