The first of his four trips was in July of 2019 and the last one was in February of 2020. 2020 - the year of the coronavirus. COVID-19 - the black swan. The big disruptor. The game changer. Isn't it? Maybe so. But the lyrics collected in "At Tully's. Coffee Shop Diaries II" - like the ones collected in its companion "Ukiyo-e. Coffee Shop Diaries I" show that change is always happening and that we have to face it head-on to find our way out of sadness, misery and pain. To find our way. To find our place in life.
