Mr. Dixon engages his family as a reflection mirroring the image of the millions of African American families living in the United States during this period. He discusses the social ingredients in the development and shaping of black men and the significant roles of Black Women's in aiding and supporting men in achieving success. Moreover, He gives tribute and recognition to unsung heroes and local and national community leaders who played a significant role in fortifying the community providing support to single parent and indigent families.
