Anchored by Faith

Samuel Clemens, better known as Mark Twain was one that knew how to use words. He said, in his The Wit and Wisdom of Mark Twain, "The difference between the almost right word and the right word is really a large matter. ’tis the difference between the lightning bug and the lightning.’" Faith is the right word but it must be used correctly. Faith as a subject has been generalized to the degree of unrecognizably fostering a disconnect to its Biblical foundation. There is a Biblical context that has been skewed by modern attitudes accommodating the emotionally felt, favored over the spiritually received. There has been coming a resurgent demand for clear correspondence concerning the question, "What is faith?" A generalized answer will not suffice.
