Alejandro's Last Chance

Jack's eyes widened in recognition as the very lovely Jessica Banks captured his attention. She seemed absorbed in her cell phone; concentration written all over her face. Her long, wavy black hair lay draped over one shoulder. She appeared even prettier than when he'd seen her at his door yesterday morning. The pirate's voice shattered his trance. "Don't stare like a one-eyed, lard-brained idiot. Git over there and impress her with yer razor-sharp wit. If that don't work, buy 'er that fancy rum drink." Jack didn't expect danger, romance and a pirate ghost on his Cayman Island vacation. Soft, sandy Seven Mile Beach seemed like the perfect escape from Michigan's brutal winter, a place to bury his toes-and the memory of being jilted on his wedding day.
